Year 6
Year 6's topic in Autumn 1 is 'Do we love where we live enough to change?' They have been learning about climate change and the impact it is having on our planet. They have listening to speeches made by Greta Thunberg and used her style to write their own speeches to persuade us to act now to save the planet. Joshua has really thought about his language, used persuasive devices and considered how to deliver his speech in the most emotive and impactful way. He is a politician or public speaker in the making!
This is a Year 6 Mayan creation story following their learning about the Mayans.
Year 4
Year 4 were learning about medical inventions that help us and wrote a newspaper report about Edward Jenner who discovered the first vaccine.
